The Limestone American Legion presents their annual “Rib Wars” competition on Saturday, August 21, at the Legion, located just off Route 219.  A $15 donation gets you a roast pig dinner with sides, live music and more.  Dinners will be available starting at 4:30pm.  Cash prizes will be awarded to the rib cook-off winers…to sign up for the competition, contact Betty, at (716)301-8001, or Ron, at (716)904-3113.  All proceeds from the day will benefit the SPCA and the Empire Animal Rescue Society.
